Real sustainability instead of awards
We have been living sustainability with heart and mind for over 12 years - without labels, but with conviction. Our aim is to preserve tradition, conserve resources and offer guests a special experience.
Tradition meets future
We have renovated our buildings with a lot of love - with a focus on preserving the old substance and using natural materials. You can feel the history in our hotel - and enjoy modern comfort at the same time.
Reuse & resource conservation
A historic alpine hut was demolished and rebuilt as a Heidi hut on our premises - without any loss of comfort. Almost all components and materials were reused or sustainably supplemented.
Sustainable agriculture & animal husbandry
We operate two stable buildings:
Old stable at the Heidi Hut: pigs, chickens, turkeys, zebus, cows, goats
New gray cattle barn made of larch wood - with species-appropriate suckler cow husbandry. The meat ends up directly on your plate - regional, honest & high-quality.
Our animals are not fed silage, only hay and grain. In summer, they live on mountain pastures - a paradise for animals and humans.
Building in harmony with nature
- Chalets made from 100% solid wood, without chemicals
- Clay tile roofs, stone floors & wood-burning stoves
- Climate-friendly & cozy
"Klamperer Haus 1651" - the project
A listed house is dismantled true to the original and rebuilt ecologically by us:
Wood fiber insulation, old roof shingles, larch windows, wood stove & underfloor heating.
Our concept: Temporary farmer → Live like in 1651 - with stables and animals, but also hot water, electricity & comfort.
Our energy supply
- Two large photovoltaic systems
- Residual electricity from regional hydropower
- New wood chip heating system (since 2025)
- Heated hotel, chalets and swimming pool
- Wood comes directly from the local sawmill (waste recycling)
Sustainable swimming pool
Water from our own mountain well, technology powered by PV electricity, chemicals only where necessary - for your safety.
Homemade & regional
- Vegetable garden: Freshly harvested, used directly
- Brewery with its own spring water
- Smokehouse for our meat - traditionally pickled & smoked
Our outdoor area - wild & natural
Our grounds cover over 1 hectare: only a small area is regularly mowed (hotel & pitch). The rest remains meadow, pasture and bee paradise.
Over 70 fruit trees, own apple juice. Flowering areas with native plants - without chemicals, tended by hand.
Invitation to our guests
Anyone who says "not cared for" has not yet worked with us!
Come along to the farm, experience everyday life - we look forward to seeing you!
Experience sustainability, not just see it
For us, sustainability is not a concept, but a lived reality -
for our guests, for our animals, for our future.
Experience it for yourself - we look forward to your visit!
